Netherlands are afraid of act of terrorism

Netherlands have declared about safety measures toughening in the country up to a level “significant” because of the increased probability of terrorist attacks before demonstration of the antiIslamic 15-minute film, which has been removed by the extremely right Dutch member of right-wing politician Geert Wilders.
The film has been already condemned some with Muslim countries. But, despite of the government prevention that demonstration of film will damage political and economic interests of Holland, the member of parliament has declared, that he is resolutely adjusted to demonstrate film to all people.
 


Pentagon is concerned with China’s military power

The unwillingness of Peking to open the purpose and scales of the military expansion can become the reason of destabilization of all Asian-Pacific region. So the US Defense Ministry considers.
As it has been emphasized, Washington considers constant underestimation of real charges by the government of China for military needs as one of the most disturbing factors.
As Associated Press transfers, it is spoken in the US Defense Ministry in the report that the international community has the limited representation about motives, decision-making process and the purposes of modernization the defensive complex by China.
Lack of a transparency of China’s activity in defensive and military spheres can lead to strengthening of conflicts and misunderstandings in attitudes. China increases and modernizes military means and threatens balance of forces of Asian-Pacific region, and escalating of strategic opportunities of China influences a situation outside this region.


Pentagon has ordered 179 aircraft fillers for the sum of $35 billion

European concern Airbus and American company Northrop Grumman have won the tender for delivery 179 aircraft fillers for the Air Forces of the USA. Such information has been given by the US Defense Ministry.
The sum of the transaction makes 35 billion dollars. According to the terms of the contract new planes will be put to the Pentagon within the nearest 10-15 years.
This transaction is the first of three contracts in result of which Pentagon expects to replace all fleet of air tankers within 30 years (600 planes). The total sums of contracts will make about 100 billion dollars
EADS-Northrop Grumman experts plan to carry out final assembly of aviatankers at a factory in Alabama. However, the basic part of work will be carried out in the Europe.
The decision of US Defense Ministry became the real impact for American concern Boeing, the constant contractor of the Pentagon during 50 years, which also applied for this contract.
Airbus is the affiliated structure of European space and defensive concern EADS. Re-structuring, directed on increase of competitiveness in struggle with Boeing Co, is being carried out in the company now. In 2007 the volume of Airbus orders has made 1 thousand 341 air liner that became a record of concern, but it has also appeared insufficiently to bypass Boeing, which received 1 thousand 413 orders.


Turkey has finished military operations in Iraq

Turkish armies have finished ground military operations in Iraq. Local mass-media resources have informed on it today.
The Turkish army has begun ground operation against Kurdish separatists in the north of Iraq on the night of February, 22nd. Under messages of mass-media, nearby 10 thousand military men of Turkish army (at aircraft assistance) have crossed the Iraq border. Turkey has assured the Iraq authorities, that operation will be limited by struggle against insurgents from the Kurdish Workers’ Party, which was recognized terrorist grouping by the USA and the EU countries.
In January 2008 the prime minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared, that Turkish authorities will struggle with insurgents of the Kurdish Workers’ Party. As he said, struggle against Kurds is a part of world opposition to terrorism.
Prime-minister also marked, that Turkey is not interested in capture of northern territories of Iraq for struggle against Kurds, having emphasized, that Ankara is the firm supporter of preservation of territorial integrity of Iraq.
Kurdish Workers’ Party conducts the armed struggle for creation of the independent Kurdish state in a southeast of Turkey since 1984.
 


Pentagon has called Turkey to leave Iraq as soon as possible

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has called Turkey to disengage armies from northern Iraq within the next few days. The chapter of the American Ministry of Defense considers very important to carry out military operation of Turkey as soon as possible.
Minister has emphasized necessity to remember the sovereignty of Iraq and has urgently recommended Ankara to disengage in the near future Turkish armies from the north of this country.
Before this US Defense Secretary called Turkey to solve a problem of Kurds by political and economic methods, emphasizing, that counterterrorist operation in this respect not the most effective tool.
The USA in their appeals to the world in the north of Iraq is guided especially by a pragmatism and calculation. Washington is afraid, that operations in region will be reflected in deliveries of oil pipeline. Other reason can rely in fears that with activity of Kurds in the north of the country can activate the Islamic terrorist groupings.
Baghdad acts sharply against intrusion of Turkey into Northern Kurdistan. In particular, on February, 24th Iraq has called Turkey to disengage the armies from the Iraq territories “as soon as possible” and to sit down for a negotiating table, having declared, that unilateral carrying out of military operation by Turkey in the north of Iraq bears threat of stability in region and breaks the sovereignty of Iraq. At the same time Baghdad recognizes, that it ia unable to take a situation in this region under control.


“Taliban” is ready to dialogue with the new government of Pakistan

Movement “Taliban” has declared about readiness for peace dialogue with the new government of Pakistan, which should be generated after a victory of oppositional forces over recent parliamentary elections.
As the representative of Talibs Maulvi Umar has declared, movement “wishes peace in Pakistan and aspires to dialogue with the new government “.
The representative of “Taliban” has also called the Pakistan opposition to not repeat mistakes of a present government and to stop so-called “war with terrorism”, started by Pervez Musharraf.
Let’s remind, that in the beginning of a century the military-political government of “Taliban” has declared Pervez Musharraf their enemy” for his assistance of the American aggression against Afghanistan “. In opinion of Taliban leaders, Pakistan was and remains the friend to Talibs, however Musharraf is their enemy.
Nevertheless official Islamabad supports Afghanistan in struggle against terrorism and extremism.


USA will be fenced off from Mexico by “virtual border”

USA have developed “virtual border” by means of which the American authorities hope to stop a stream of illegal migrants from Mexico.
“The virtual wall” has been constructed by company Boeing Co on a site of border of Arizona state and Mexico. The project has managed to Washington in 20 million dollars
“The virtual wall” is a set of 30-meter observant towers, equipped by last word of techniques: radar, sensor movement controls and the special chambers, capable to define type of observable object on distance up to 16 kilometers.
The software allows system to define automatically quantity the person in mass congestions of migrants and to reveal presence of the weapon or drugs.
It was planned, that “the virtual wall” would start to function in second half of 2007; however, it has been postponed because of problems with the software.
As the American authorities inform, “the virtual wall” will not replace a physical wall, which is planned to be built on a greater part of the American-Mexican border, and will serve as its addition.
 


Turks cut Iraq

Yesterday evening Turkey sharply forced approach to the Iraq Kurds. Ten-thousand Turkish army has begun promotion deep into the Iraq Kurdistan. Kurdistan Workers Party (KWP) is an overall objective of special action (under the application of the Joint Staff of Turkey). As official Istanbul has noted, operation will be prolonged exactly for so much time, which is necessary for the Turkish party. This military action, obviously, occurs at support of the USA, though, Washington has asked Turkey to show restraint. Meanwhile, according to experts, last night the USA send to active phase of realization of the global project of Iraq and then and all Near East repartition.
Now the Turkish army managed to promote on 10 km deep into the Iraq Kurdistan. Besides, land forces of the Air Forces of Turkey also participate in special operation. It is not informed about any victims from Kurds.


Turkey has started full-scale intrusion into Iraq

Turkish army has started ground operation against Kurdish separatists in the north of Iraq. As it has become known nearby 10 thousand military men take part in this operation. After intrusion of Turkish army into Iraq, the main check point Habur has been closed - it is the main check item between two countries.
Operation has started last night. At support of fighters Turkish armies have crossed the Iraq border. Nowadays it is informed, that Turkish divisions have promoted on 10 km deep into the country. Meanwhile Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iraq has declared that the Iraq government has no data on any military intrusion into the country.
Turkey has repeatedly declared intention to lead the armed operation against insurgents of the Kurdistan Workers Party (KWP), disappearing in mountains in the north of Iraq. However, business did not reach so large military operations. Ankara limited to special actions in frontier areas and drawing of bombing attacks on Kurdish separatists.
KWP conducts the armed struggle for creation of the independent Kurdish state in the southeast of Turkey since 1984. More than 37 thousand people have been killed in result of collisions for the past period in region.
Washington supports Ankara in the armed struggle against Kurds. However, the White House has earlier opposed full-scale intrusion of Turkey into Northern Iraq, being afraid, that operations will be reflected in oil deliveries.
 


In Italy the criminal, who has grasped in hostages of children, has finally surrendered

In Italy the criminal, who has grasped a kindergarten, has surrendered and has released all hostages. Anybody from hostages has not suffered.
The criminal armed, by a writing knife, has grasped in hostages of 11 children and one tutor and barricaded in a building of a kindergarten. The man has declared that he has become a victim to suit and has required inviting journalists. Later the criminal has released five children, and then the remained six and the tutor, having surrendered in hands of police.
Unfortunately, cases of capture in hostages of children have become frequent. Similar case has occurred recently in Pakistan, where the insurgents, who have rushed school in northwest of the country, kept about 250 pupils and teachers.
In result of negotiations insurgents have agreed to surrender to elders of tribes, who took part in negotiations about hostages’ release. The police has removed a cordon and has departed from a building and then children and the teacher have started to leave school.
