Somalia pirates in have grasped two more vessels

Today representatives of Kenya sea department have informed that Somalia pirates have grasped two more vessels in Aden gulf.
They have specified, that vessels have been grasped on the eve nearby to that place, where on May, 25th, the vessel with Russians and Philippines onboard has undergone to piracy attack.
There is no information about who possesses grasped vessels Lehmann Timber and Arena, and also about nationalities of crew members. Also while there are no clear requirements of pirates.
Somali pirates quite often grasp foreign vessels. So, the dry-cargo ship, onboard of which there are nine members of crew, including four Russians, sailed from Kenya to Romania. Moscow calls Somalia to refrain from the actions, which could be dangerous for life of grasped vessel’s crew.


In Nigeria insurgents have damaged oil pipeline and have killed 11 militarians

Insurgents in Nigeria have damaged oil pipeline and have killed 11 militarians in firing, which has followed diversion. Under the insurgents’ application, incident has occurred today in the morning on oil pipeline belonging British-Holland oil company Royal Dutch Shell PLC. Official sources have not confirmed given information.
In territory of Nigeria the various extremist groupings, fighting for redistribution of oil incomes recovery, operate.
Extremists on a regular basis attack oil objects and abduct employees of the oil companies, including foreigners. Actions of insurgents for last two years have led to significant reduction of oil recovery in Nigeria, thousand foreign workers have been compelled to leave the country, two oil refining factories have been closed, and also the system of electro supply of region has been broken.
In the middle of 2007 regular attacks of insurgents have led to that volumes of export of Nigerian oil have reduced on 25 %.
Let’s note that the new attack of Nigerian insurgents can promote a rise in prices for oil. For last five years the world prices for oil have grown more than twice, and really supersonic turns have typed rates of growth of quotations in current year.


Sri Lanka insurgents have arranged explosion at Hilton hotel

In result of act of terrorism in capital of Sri Lanka (Colombo) about 10 people were killed, 85 more were wounded. According to representatives of armed forces command of the country, eight employees of law enforcement bodies, who have died on road to hospital, are among victims.
As it was informed earlier the terrorist-condemned man on the mined motorcycle attacked the bus with policemen in one of well protected business areas of city, where the of Sri Lanka President’s residence and headquarters of armed forces of the country, and also hotel Hilton, are located.
While no one has taken the responsibility for act of terrorism, but country’s authorities have already assumed, that it is Tamil Tigers’ extremist grouping. It is necessary to note, that it is the first act of terrorism in capital for last 8 years. All this time opposition of authorities and insurgents carried out attracts only in the north of the country.


Hezbollah gives the control over Beirut to army of Lebanon

Hundreds passengers are evacuated from the New York underground

On the eve in the New York underground nearby 16:30 on local time, there was a state of emergency, because of which evacuation of more than 400 passengers has been made, has occurred in the underground of New York. The reason of incident became was caused by derail of two cars of the train in area of Central Park. Fortunately, it has done without victims; two people have received insignificant traumas. Investigation of incident circumstances is being carried out and while the commission of experts has not presented even preliminary versions of the accident.
