Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez has declared that Colombia is going to make the armed intrusion into Venezuela. Thus he has emphasized, that intrusion is planned at support of the USA.
Chavez has advised Bogotá not “to provoke Caracas” and has warned, that in case of any aggression Venezuela will stop oil deliveries to Colombia.
In the beginning of January, 2008, Hugo Chavez has played a leading role in clearing by grouping FARC of two hostages. After that the Venezuelan leader, whom the government of Colombia accuses of excess of the role of the intermediary in negotiations with extremists, has called Bogotá to remove a label of “terrorists” from insurgents, having named it as the main condition of the conclusion of the long-term peace in Colombia.
However Chavez’s appeal has not found understanding. After that the Venezuelan leader has named the President of Colombia Alvaro Uribe the hostage of policy of the USA and has declared, that that he accepts a role the Mafiosi, rather than heads of the state.
Earlier the leader of Venezuela has accused Colombia of plot with the purpose of his murder.
