11 people are arrested for cooperation with Al-Qaeda

Security services of Algeria have arrested 11 young men from 17 till 26 years old, suspected of connections with the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda in the countries of Islamic Maghrib.
According to the police, arrested are involved in preparation and arrangement of act of terrorism against the president of country in the city of Batna, in northeast of the country on September, 6th, 2007.
Then in result of the explosion, which has been carried out by the terrorist-condemned man, 22 persons were killed and more than 100 people have received wounds. As it has been informed, the Islamite who earlier has got under amnesty within the limits of the presidential program  Charter of national reconciliation, which assumes returning by a peace life of the Islamic insurgents who have been not involved in massacre and acts of terrorism supervised the arrested group of insurgents.
Investigation has found out that all the arrested young men were trained in special camp of preparation of insurgents and after successful act of terrorism should become the part of Al-Qaeda.

 


Large act of terrorism in Afghanistan

Twenty people became the victims of the act of terrorism accomplished today in Kabul. As the official representative of the Afghani Ministry of Internal Affairs has declared, in the bus the terrorist has caused suspicions in one of officers, who have blocked him an entrance inside. However, ignoring preventions, the condemned man has tried to get into the bus after what fire on defeat has been opened.
Despite of the received wounds the terrorist has, nevertheless, managed to arrange powerful explosive. In result of explosion the bus practically has been completely destroyed - a blast wave has taken down a roof and has torn off its forward part. The serious damage is put to the buildings located nearby the place of incident. Three children and two women are among the victims. The responsibility for an attack was already incurred with movement “Taliban”.
According to its representatives, the 21-year-old native of a province Helmand in the south of the country was the executor of this act of terrorism.
Attacks of insurgents have considerably become frequent. So, on last Saturday one of the largest acts of terrorism in Kabul has carried away lives of 30 people.
 


Baghdad: Iraq will not become base for US armies in case of war with Iran

Iraq will not become the base for the American armies in case of the beginning of military campaigns against Iran or Syria. With such application Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi after negotiations with Bashar al-Assad, the president of Syria, taken place in Damascus, has acted.
Answering the question on possible military campaign of the USA against Iran, Adel Abdul-Mahdi has answered, that Iraq will not accept that fact, that its territory will be used for aggression against any neighboring country.
As it has become known Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Bashar al-Assad have discussed safety issues in region. The Syrian president has noted that Damascus supports political progress in Iraq.
Gamble concerning possible military intrusion of the USA into Iran have appeared in connection with official applications from France, concerning preparations for possible war with Iran around of diplomatic variants of the decision of the Iranian nuclear question.
On September, 17th, 2007, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Bernard Kouchner has told that France should be prepared for possible war with Islamic Republic. Thus on a question on, whether the Ministry of Defense of France prepares for war with Iran, Kouchner has answered, that such actions of the French command would be “normal”.
Meanwhile official Teheran believes that coalition armies under direction of the USA cannot start military campaign against Iran as now they are too busy with missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
