As Associated Press has informed, firing between military men of Northern and South Korea has occurred on border of two countries.
Incident has happened in a southern part of the demilitarized zone dividing the Korean peninsula on southern and northern parts. According to the application of South-Korean authorities, soldiers of KNDR army have opened fire on a frontier post of South Korean army and South-Korean military men have also answered with fire.
According to Associated Press, South-Korean party has no victims. At the same time it is not known how the incident for armies of Northern Korea has ended.
Let’s note that both countries still are at war, as the Korean war of 1950-1953 has come to the end with an armistice, instead of the peace treaty. The differentiating line has been lead after war by command of the United Nations’ armies. Seoul considers its as the northern border of the territory while Pyongyang refuses to recognize it.
