Threat of act of terrorism in Morocco
In Morocco level of threat of national safety has lifted up to “maximal” point. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, now in Morocco there is a serious threat of act of terrorism. It is ordered to all security service to be mobilized as much as possible. Last large batch of explosions in Morocco has occurred in Casablanca from April, 10 till April, 14th: five terrorists-suicides have undermined in streets of city. One policeman was killed and 45 people were wounded.
Recently similar measures have been accepted in the Great Britain after attempts of fulfillment of acts of terrorism in London and Glasgow. On June, 30th, 2007, authorities of the country have raised a level of terrorist threat up to the maximal “critical” level. On July, 4th it has been lowered up to the “high” level.
On June, 29th 2007, in London two mined cars were revealed. In the evening on June, 30th 2007, at the airport of Glasgow off-road car Jeep Cherokee ran into the central doors of a building of the terminal of the airport and has lighted up. Two men have been arrested; one of them was hospitalized in a critical state because of the received burns. Other arrests have been also made. On July, 6th, 2007, the first charge has been put forward.
