Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: Teheran is ready for psychological war
Sanctions will not force Iran to curtail the nuclear program. With such application the president of Islamic Republic has acted today. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in particular, has told that neither threats, nor the psychological war declared by enemies of Iran, will force Teheran to descend from “the way of progress”.
According to the Iranian leader, his country is at last stage of finding of nuclear technologies. Thus M.Ahmadinezhad has not specified, what exactly he meant.
M.Ahmadinejad’s application has sounded two days later after the representatives of Russia, the USA, the Great Britain, France, China and Germany (the so-called “six”) have met in Berlin to discuss unwillingness of Teheran to submit to requirements of the United Nations. Under the messages of diplomatic sources, the USA insist on the further toughening of sanctions of the world community concerning Iran for its refusal to suspend work on enrichment of uranium.
Let’s remind, that on December, 23rd, 2006, UN Security Council has accepted the resolution across Iran. According to the document, Teheran should stop enrichment of uranium both in peace, and in the military purposes. Other requirement of the UN Security Council became the termination of development of the projects focused on manufacture of nuclear warheads.
The second resolution of March, 24th 2007, contained already more rigid requirements, down to the interdiction to the states and the international financial organizations to sign new agreements granting with Teheran concerning the economic assistance and credits on favorable terms.
Despite of the accepted documents, in the beginning of April, 2007, the government of Iran has declared an output of the Iranian nuclear program on the industrial level. The president of country, acting on solemn action on the occasion of a holiday of nuclear technologies, has declared, that Iran has entered club of nuclear powers and can make nuclear fuel commercially.
