USA is going to sale weapon to the potential terrorists
National Rifle Association (NRA), one of influential lobbyist groups of the USA, has called President’s administration to refuse support of the bill, providing the refuse on selling weapon to the persons, suspected of terrorism as breaking a civil freedom.
NRA Executive Director Chris Cox has sent the letter to the US general public prosecutor. C. Cox has specified, that the bill will allow carrying out any infringement of the second amendment of the Constitution on the basis of the suspicion not supported by the facts in terrorism.
Cox has pointed out that the word “suspicion” has no legal sense, especially when it concerns denying constitutional freedom.
The bill supported by the Justice Department, allows general public prosecutor to block sale of the weapon or licensing for it the people, suspected in terrorism. At the same time the second amendment of the US Constitution, which actively protects NRA, uniting owners and collectors of the weapon, gives Americans the right to carrying of the weapon.
According to the current US legislation, the suspicion in terrorism is not the basis for refusal on sale of the weapon.
Nevertheless, after recent events at university of Virginia where the Korean student has arranged the present massacre, having killed 31 persons, have forced Americans to reflect seriously on consequences of free sale of the weapon.
However, as it was found out, the number of supporters and opponents of preservation of a present situation is practically equal. Moreover, there is an insignificant advantage at those who demands to leave the weapon on free sale.
