European Union will protect from prospective terrorists

The EU Ministers for Foreign Affairs are going to approve legal procedure which should protect the rights of prospective terrorists. Today at the EU Council’s session in Luxembourg the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of 27 countries of EU community will consider unprecedented procedure of the notice of the organizations and private persons about their entering in terrorist “black list”.
The essence of procedure is quite simple - the Eurocommission will dispatch all candidates for the list of terrorists by mail formal notices, where it will undersign, on what bases of the addressee they have found the terrorist. The candidate will have a month for applying to the Eurocommission and to represent the given objections. If there won’t be any objections, the question is considered as solved.
Certainly, addresses not of all terrorists are known as not each terrorist organization has headquarters with a mail box. In this case the Eurocommission will mark the names of candidates for mass-media, and also on the official site.
This procedure has been prepared in connection with scandalous with People’s Mojahedin Organisation. This organization, uniting mainly Iranian emigrants, oppositional to a present Teheran mode, has been brought into the terrorist list of EU in 2002. Mojahedins have submitted the claim to the European court and have carried case against Eurocommission. Last year the court of justice decided that entering of this organization into “the black list” was unreasonable as its representatives had no opportunity to challenge it. As a result, carrying out the decision of court, the Eurocommission has prepared the message to the People’s Mojahedin Organisation, in which it has explained the motivation and for avoiding recurrence of similar situations in the future -it has developed the project of procedure of the notice of the future figurants of the terrorists’ list.
Today 26 people and 28 organizations enter into the European list of the terrorist organizations.

Palestinian insurgents have forwarded three rockets on the Israeli territory. One of them has got in an apartment house in Sderot. No victims and wounded were founded, but some people have been driven to hospital in a shock state.
In turn the Israeli armies have answered the same: they have put aviaimpact on sector Gaza. In the result of attack one Palestinian citizen was killed, anther one - has received wounds. The car, in which there was both of the Palestinian, has been parked near to a place of start-up of rockets.
Earlier today the Israeli armies have destroyed three Palestinian insurgents on Western bank of the river Jordan. Soldiers have opened fire on the car with extremists near the village Jenin and have killed all passengers.
While the Palestinian insurgents and Israel strike blows on territory each other, the Head of the Palestinian national administration Mahmoud Abbas has arrived on a visit to Greece. The Palestinian President makes this trip within the limits of the European tour which overall objective - is to convince the European Union to remove the economic sanctions entered in January, 2006, in reply of coming to power in an autonomy of a radical Hamas grouping.
The program of Abbas’s three-day visit to Greece foresees meeting with Greek President Karolos Papoulias, Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis, Greek Affairs Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis and leaders of opposition party.
In Abbas’s opinion, the sanction should be removed from the Autonomy, as the new Palestinian government is more moderate, rather than former one. Its structure included not only representatives of a radical grouping Hamas, but also members of moderate movement Fatah, and also independent politicians. However the European Union insists on that Hamas should refuse from the armed struggle, recognize the right of the Jewish state and promise to carry out all former peace arrangements with Israel.
Abbas’s European tour also includes visiting of France, Italy, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden and Bulgaria.

Georges Bush: Iran is a serious problem

Nuclear ambitions of Iran can provoke race of nuclear arms in the Mid East. It is one of the basic theses of of Georges Bush’s speech in one of Ohio schools.
According to the American President’s words” Iran is a serious problem and it is the country, which wishes to possess the nuclear weapon.
However, according to Bush, Iran is guilty not only that it expects to get the nuclear weapon. The head of the White house has declared that Iran aspires to influence inside of Iraq, delivering the weapon to Iraq and directing the people in shiit militia there. Iran is expecting to create the disorder and to set panic all over the world.
Georges Bush has added that the government of Iraq should not depend on Iran that is expected in all regions.
It is worth of mentioning that several days ago New York Times has published the article, in which it was spoken, that a number of the Mid-East states, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and Jordan, are going to develop peace atomic engineering. The edition marks, that though interest to peace atom grows all over the world, ambitions of the Mid East countries, which have always leaned on natural power resources, cause questions. In opinion of newspaper’s experts, the countries of this region aspire to create a counterbalance to threat which can proceed from Iran.
Teheran declares that its nuclear program is directed exclusively on satisfaction of power needs of the country.

The USA: Iran is looking for new sanctions

Today the representative of White House has declared that the manufacture of nuclear fuel is a call of Teheran to the international community. It was also mentioned that the International Atomic Energy Agency’s document (IAEA) shows, that Iran is measured to continue opposition with the international community and the Iranian leaders conduct proud people to the further isolation.
Teheran considers the beginning of enrichment as promotion forward, however actually it is, on the contrary, a step back. Refusal of performance of requirements of UN Security Council will lead only to new sanctions.
On the eve it became known, that the IAEA has the information on the beginning of manufacture of nuclear fuel on the Iranian nuclear objects. According to the IAEA’s version, more than 1,3 thousand of the centrifuges divided into 8 cascades have been put into service. The agency has also confirmed that Iran has started the submission in the cascade of centrifuges of the special industrial gas for the enrichment of uranium.
Meanwhile some US politicians and militaries consider that diplomacy brings successes into the Iranian policy. Such application has been made by US Minister of Defense. As it has been declared, the international community was united in the appeal to Iran about the termination of nuclear program development and these are exactly the international diplomatic pressure which will help to solve the problem.
In US politicians’ opinion, two UN Security Council’s resolutions across Iran is already a very important parameter of progress in settlement of a situation around Teheran’s nuclear program.
