Somali pirates have grasped French luxury yacht

On the specified data, there are 30 members of crew onboard of French cruise vessel, which has been grasped on the eve by pirates n the Gulf of Aden off the Somali coast.
The majority of hostages of pirates are the citizens of France. The crew included 22 French citizens, including six women, French Defense Minister Herve Morin said. Military spokesman Cmdr. Christophe Prazuck said that other members included Ukrainians.
As it has become known, the pirates attacked the 288-foot Le Ponant on Friday, when it was returning without passengers from the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean, toward the Mediterranean Sea.
France considers an opportunity of carrying out of operation on rescue of the citizens. In Gulf of Aden at present there are some French fighting ships, which usually accompany with transports with the humanitarian help.
