Bombardment was preceded with prospecting flight during which pilots tried to define a site of camps of Kurdish insurgents and to avoid victims among local population. However, there is no information about real results of operation.
Let’s remind that last month Turkish army has carried out ground operation on territory of Kurdistan. The impressive military contingent, which purpose relied destruction of Kurdish terrorists’ infrastructure, managed to complete the operation. During 8-day’s operation Turks really managed to destroy some tens insurgents, however, under pressure of the world community Ankara had to go on withdrawal of armies and to return to tactics of aviaimpacts.
The government of Iraq more than once promised Turkey to join in struggle against Kurdish terrorists, however, actually Baghdad government does not supervise mountain areas on border with Turkey, where the main KWP’s bases are located, which are carrying out attacks on militaries and policemen in southeast areas of Turkish Kurdistan.
