Turkey will continue operation against PKK in Iraq

The Turkish army has promised to continue operations against the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) in Iraq.
Turkey has declared that operations will be exclusively directed against PKK and will not touch other groupings and peace population, in case if they will not behave aggressively concerning Turkish soldiers.
On Saturday Turkey has informed, that armed forces have stroked the massed blow with “application of means fire supports” on the group of 50-60 PKK’s insurgents.
The group of insurgents has been found out during prospecting work then “against terrorists’ intensive fighting operation” has been lead. Means have allowed defining, that the group of insurgents has had significant losses after the attack.
Before starting the attack against Kurdish insurgents, the prime minister of country has declared, that the government of Turkey has approved intrusion of armed forces to the territory of northern Iraq for struggle with PKK.
PKK leads the armed struggle for creation of the independent Kurdish state in the southeast of Turkey since 1984.
