Iraq will stop oil delivery if Turkey will enter economic blockade of northern areas of the country. Such information has been declared in Damascus by the speaker of Iraq parliament.
The application has been made after negotiations with the president of Syria.
Iraq party has also confirmed that the Syrian authorities have incurred a role of the intermediary in negotiations between Ankara and Baghdad.
Introduction by Turkey of sanctions against the Iraq Kurdistan (if it will occur) will painfully strike on economy of region before a winter season. Many essential commodities, practically all foodstuffs, and also a significant part of the electric power are being delivered from a neighboring country on the local markets.
However, Turkish authorities wish to go on such measure of influence to compel the Iraq authorities to subject to repression insurgents of the Kurdish working party and to force them to stop military confrontation.
