United States have rejected the request of the president of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to allow him to visit a place of acts of terrorism in New York on September, 11th, 2001.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is expected at the next week opening of UN Security Council session in New York, has addressed to the administration of the city and the American special services with the request to resolve to him visiting of a place of acts of terrorism on September, 11th.
As the representative of New-York police has informed, the Iranian President has been refused because of safety reasons and also owing to proceeding of civil works at the place of tragedy.
Thus the representative of US National Safety Council has declared, that similar actions from the top management of other countries are not ordinary action for the city, however, more it was very strange that that the president of the country, which is the sponsor of world terrorism, has expressed desire to visit a place of acts of terrorism.
The representative of the Iranian mission in UN General Assembly has explained that Ahmadinejad intended to assign flowers on a place of tragedy in New York and honor the victims of acts of terrorism on September, 11th 2001. It has been also noted that the Iranian party is still hoping for the compromise with police of New York on this question.
