During the meeting with France’s foreign minister, Bernard Kouchner Russian acting Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov has told that Russia is concerned over the messages on possible military sanctions concerning Iran.
On September, 16th, Bernard Kouchner has declared, that France should be prepared for possible war with Iran. He has told that France should be ready for the worst and war is the worst that can be. He has emphasized, that the countries of the world should accept new sanctions concerning the Iranian nuclear program before Teheran can create a nuclear bomb that can lead to war. In turn, the prime minister of France has called to undertake all possible efforts to avoid military campaign against Iran.
The UN Security Council has already accepted resolutions on sanctions concerning Iran in connection with refusal of Teheran to suspend enrichment of uranium. USA acted as the basic initiator of resolutions, accusing Iran in development of the nuclear weapon under covering under the “peace atom” program. Teheran, nevertheless, insists on the fact that the nuclear program of Iran has exclusively peace character.
On September, 21st, representatives of Russia, China, the USA and so-called “eurothree” (France, Germany and the Great Britain) will discuss an opportunity of introduction of new sanctions concerning Iran.
