Accident in London underground: 37 victims

In result of the accident, which has occurred today in the London underground, 37 people have suffered, having received easy wounds and 11 from them are hospitalized.
Today at 9:04 on local time the train, which followed from station Bethnal Green up to station Mile End on the central branch of underground of London, derailed. According to the British police, about 700 passengers have been evacuated from the train and the movement on a site of underground has been suspended.
On preliminary data, incident has occurred because of the handicaps, which have arisen on ways, and it is not connected with terrorism. Representatives of the British Union of workers of railway and sea transport have informed, that workers repeatedly warned the London authorities that the equipment, used for works in a underground, was served with non-observance of the required norms. The service of railway incidents investigation finds out circumstances of the accident.
It is worth of mentioning that the raised security measures before mourning date of acts of terrorism of two-year-old prescription are being carried out in the London underground. On July, 7th 2005, three explosions in the London underground have taken lives of 52 people.
