The stream of refugees from the country threatens region with humanitarian accident
Today in Geneva the international conference, devoted to a problem of the Iraq refugees and displaced people, is being held. According to Amnesty International data, today there are approximately 4 million homeless people. The situation is on the verge of humanitarian accident. Amnesty International has called the USA, European Union and other countries of the world to help with the sanction of crisis.
Political and religious conflicts force Iraqis leave their homes and immigrate to other countries with more stable political situation. Recently, six ministers have left the government.
Meanwhile security service employees have started to join the requirement of the prompt leaving Americans. Last Sunday groups of policemen invaders have arranged demonstration under the slogan “Get away from our country!”. Policemen complained that the American soldiers treat them as “animals” and “slaves”.
At the same time Iraqis are not ready to provide independently yet the order in the country without Americans, and this main justification of present government’s position, not wishing to remain without Washington’s military support. However, joint actions do not bring significant success.
